Direct Relief – Earthquake in Turkey-Syria

Aram Sei partnered with Direct Relief to provide timely support to the folks impacted by the Earthquake in Turkey-Syria.

Direct Relief is an international humanitarian aid organization. Their mission is to improve the health and lives of people affected by poverty or emergencies. They were directly involved in rehabilitating people who were affected by the earthquake in Turkey in 2023.

Direct Relief worked through organizations in Turkey (like AKUT and SAMS Foundation) that had the reach and capability to make medical aid available in the immediate aftermath of the earthquake. They make sure that 100% of all the donations go towards the relief efforts, which is a perfect alignment with Aram Sei’s zero-overhead model. Being a large organization, Direct Relief was able to leverage the funds raised by Aram Sei many times over by working with their partners in the pharmaceutical community.

Through this partnership, Aram Sei was able to provide medical aid to 1000 people who were impacted by this natural disaster.
