Like all things Silicon Valley, the idea of Aram Sei germinated when a group of like-minded volunteers decided to Aram Sei which in Tamil means, help others. Aram Sei intends to help grassroots organizations raise money to support endeavors that aim to provide basic education and healthcare. Aram Sei’s core values include:
- Support grassroots organizations especially ones who do not have their own fundraising channel
- Create awareness about social issues in the area of literacy and healthcare
- Sow the seed of giving in the minds of the young and future leaders
- Operate with little to no overhead
True to its Bay Area roots, Aram Sei is modeled as an early-stage seed fund for non-profits. We focus our energy on seeking organizations that help provide for the underprivileged, but are limited in their impact due to available funds. As a 100% volunteer driven organization, we strive to translate every dollar donated to us in to creating a positive impact in someone’s life. Our team has a successful track record in managing fundraising events and outreach programs and is united by their passion to make a difference where possible.
