Anuradha Sridhar and students of Trinity Center for Music proudly welcome you to partake in a musical tribute that is a sacred offering to the venerable Carnatic art form and a celebration of an enduring legacy. This concert marks a dual landmark milestone: the 35th anniversary of Trinity Center for Music and 50 glorious years of Anuradha’s journey as a virtuoso violinist, vocalist, and composer.
Since its founding in 1989, Anuradha’s Trinity Center for Music has been a powerhouse for producing artists of the highest caliber. In the great tradition of her forefathers, Anuradha has passionately guided her disciples, transforming them into dedicated professional musicians.
The grand finale, Bhajare Bhaja Manasa!, crowns a year-long series of events that began with a violin quartet performance at IFAASD (Aug 2024) and the Sri Sathya Sai centennial celebrations concert (Nov 2024), followed by Anuradha’s own music for two dance productions Valmiki Ramäyana and The Spiritual Significance of MaheSvara Sütra-s (early 2025). The celebrations also featured a popular encore of the multimedia production Naukäcaritramu (Apr 2025).
Bhajaré Bhaja Mãnasa! -“O Mind, Worship and Constantly Revere!*— is more than a concert theme; it encapsulates the spirit of Anuradha’s life and her unwavering devotion to the divine through music. Rooted in an extraordinary lineage that traces directly to Saint Tyagaraja, Anuradha’s musical journey is a living meditation. This concert offers a deeply reflective exploration of compositions that invite the mind to dwell on divine qualities, granting both woridly fulfillment (bhukti) and spiritual liberation (mukti). Bhajare Bhaja Mãnasa! is the culmination of decades of artistic sadhana and a heartfelt offering.
Join us for an evening where melody becomes meditation, and the mind is stilled in shared devotion.
