Nadalaya School of Music, directed by Smt. Shanthi Shriram and Sri. Shriram Brahmanandam, is celebrating its 20th anniversary with a spectacular musical event Shri Gurubhyo Namaha on March 31, 2024, 3:00-6:30 pm at Cubberley Community Center Theatre, Palo Alto. We are proud to partner with Aram Sei, a 501(c)3 organization based in the Bay Area, whose mission is to support grassroots charities across the world focusing on education and healthcare.
Shri Gurubhyo Namaha features a wide range of compositions of Carnatic music presented by Nadalaya disciples who sought guidance under gurus of Nadalaya over the span of many years. This will be a unique musical feast for enthusiasts, drawing an audience of more than three hundred. Vocal music students of Nadalaya will be accompanied by prominent artistes of the Bay area on the violin, veena, mrudangam, kanjira, keyboard and saxophone.

About Nadalaya School of Music:
Nadalaya School of music serves in the Bay area in learning, presenting and promoting Carnatic music since 2003. Guru. Smt. Shanthi Shriram, artistic director of Nadalaya, is the granddaughter of Sangeetha Vidwan Sri. Sathur A.G. Subramaniam, and disciple of her mother and guru Smt. Lakshmi Sundaram. Shanthi has won several awards in music competitions conducted by noted institutions like The Music Academy, Indian Fine Arts Society, Mylapore Fine Arts Club, to mention a few. She has been presenting many Carnatic vocal concerts in the United States and has collaborated with prominent musicians of the San Francisco Bay Area to produce unique thematic dance and musical shows. She has conducted many successful events such as Garland of ragas (2014), Around the World (2015), Sathur Centenary (2016), Gurupada Samarpanam (2017), Beyond Oceans (2018), Saravanabhava (2023) including fundraisers for several humanitarian causes.

About Aram Sei:
Aram Sei is a 501(c)3 certified nonprofit organization based in the Bay Area. The organization’s mission is to support grassroots organizations worldwide that work in the areas of healthcare and education. Aram Sei was founded in 2012 by a diverse group of individuals who came together in their desire to help the larger community. It is a fully volunteer-driven organization that operates with very low overheads. Over the years, Aram Sei has supported over two dozen projects in over seven countries and directly helped more than 12,000 children and adults. The mission is supported by fundraising events in partnership with other nonprofit and well-meaning organizations, donations and corporate matching programs.
